Dreamy Outdoor Wedding Cake Table Ideas Using Pretty Pink Linens
Outdoor weddings get extra fun when we add whimsical elements in the most unexpected and smallest details. The thing about outdoor weddings is we don't have to worry much about backdrops and room design. Whether it's an outdoor wedding in the forest or at the beach, nature is already in-charge of the layout of the event. All we have to do is add the details to our liking.
For today's blog, we will show you a whimsical tablescape design where you can put one of the highlights at a wedding reception: cake! We know the effort and hard work put into the cake tasting and design so there should be a perfect place reserved just for it.

Wedding Wonderland: Whimsical Tablescape Design Using Pink Linens
As we mentioned, outdoor weddings don't need grand designs. Nothing can beat the beauty of nature but for outdoor weddings, we can add elements that we love to make the venue more personal.
If you're all for dreamy outdoor weddings, why not try a vintage wooden table as the place to set down the cake (or cakes because let's face it no one can get enough of cakes at weddings)?
Go for the wonderland element by adding a pale pink table linen that just casually flows on the table. Your name doesn't have to be Alice to get a wonderland wedding!
You barely have to worry about the cake design with the cake tablescape that we're featuring today. Silk velvet table runners usually go with everything. If there's something that you should be minding, it's the cakes' flavors!
p.s. notice how we arranged the table linens quite messily? It's because you would want the guests to notice the vintage wooden table! There's also a casual elegance with the lazy arrangement of the table linens, like it's okay for everyone to have fun. And they should, it's a wedding after all!
Let the Guests Eat Cake!: Pair Vintage Wood Tables With All Things Pink
Compliment the pink table linens with the cake holders. Since we have a lot of cakes and other desserts, we decided to use cake stands with different colors, sizes, and designs. Doesn't it remind you of the whimsical and dreamy mood of the mad hatter's tea party, minus the mad hatter himself?
Don't forget to add natural elements in the tablescape as well. Aside from leaves, why not opt for small flowers? These small details can help tie the outdoor theme we have going in a wedding.
The key is asymmetry. We're not looking for messy, we are going for casual and playful elegance. Of course, you can always lay out the linens in the usual manner but wouldn't it be fun to play with it?
There are so many elements that you can absolutely play with. We hope you achieve the wonderland you're going for!
